I’ve tried A Sign Painted Peaches a few times now in oil form so I feel like I have a good feel for how it performs on me. This is a nice summery fruity scent that I don’t think is cloying. I believe this perfume is now part of the special orders, so it will be available in May.

The notes are: Peach nectar, sun-warmed peach skin, saffron, gardenia, ambergris, vanilla absolute, vetiver

Whenever I first apply this, I get this weird acetone smell but it is very subtle and eventually goes away. I don’t know if this is just me or if one of these notes smells like that to me. It doesn’t bug me too much most of the time but it does stop me from full-sizing this. Besides that, this is a nice, juicy perfume! 

I don’t think I have ever paid attention to the smell of peach skin before but this definitely has a peach skin note! This green, fuzzy smell accompanying the peach scent definitely reads as peach skin to me. As for the peach smell, I have heard a lot of people say this is very photorealistic, and while its definitely not straight up peach candy, I do think peach smells maybe more tart and sweet than this? I don’t know, its a fake peach scent but different from like the cheap one you expect from peach perfume. It has a nice amount of green and accompanying atmospheric scents that give the peach more interest to me. On the dry down, I definitely get a floral that really reminds me of Meet Me On Sunnyside, like the Osmanthus I assume. A sign painted peach has a gardenia note and neroli oil in the ingredients, so I wonder if that combined with the peach note smells like osmanthus.
