Today, I tried Sorce’s IDAFT Blueberry perfume in the oil format as a decant from Ajevie. I heard this is a good blueberry online. I have tried This is Not a Love Spell and been disappointed in the lack of blueberry but other people agreed so I trust their judgement for this one. I wasn’t looking at this one at all since, because it’s mainly a vanilla gourmand with different added scents, that tells me the added scents wouldn’t be the main part of the perfume. However, I was pleasantly surprised with this one. 

Notes: Baked meringue, vanilla bean absolute, sugar, a sprinkle of chamomile

Choose from: vanilla,  pistachio, strawberry rosewater, blueberry, or passionfruit

This is an airy vanilla that is just overall pleasant and not too distracting. Sorce has a very nice vanilla that just feels nicer than what I typically imagine with vanilla. It does kinda remind me of meringue or maybe the sugar. I don’t know if I really smell any chamomile. What really comes through though, is a very nice blueberry jam. It really smells like the blueberry filling of a cereal bar. I think I also get a bit of toastiness from the meringue that makes me think of that cereal bar. This is genuinely a very nice impressive blueberry jam that lasted basically the whole day. I agree that it is one of the best blueberries out there, I wish Sorce did a blueberry that wasn’t gourmand so I could try it as well. I am surprised because This is Not a Love Spell also has a blueberry jam note and I did not get that at all, and I would’ve assumed they would use the same ingredients. I also have the strawberry rosewater version of this perfume coming which I am excited about. I feel like I hadn’t been interested in this perfume for a while because of the notes and the additional versions felt like they would all be too similar but I am glad I got this.
